Eikon provides historical financial information with over 35 million individual instruments or indicators across all major asset classes, including 8.5 million active economic indicators. It features 65 years of data, across 175 countries – providing statistical information you need to interpret market trends, economic cycles, and the impact of world events.
Refinitiv Eikon can be accessed via a web interface (Eikon Web) or a desktop interface (Eikon Desktop).
1. Eikon Web
2. Eikon Desktop
There are several ways to search for information on companies. You can search by names and abbreviations, descriptive terms, or industry codes (such as Ticker or CUSIP). Company profiles, instruments, and topics are linked directly in the News application.
You can also ask questions in natural language, and Eikon's autosuggest will interpret your entry and provide results.
In addition, Eikon contains country guides with in-depth economic indicators. Find them by searching for country names.
To find FAQs to help you get the most out of your searches, start your query with 'How do I...'.
You can access support with Eikon in three ways
1. Within Eikon: help with the current page
2. On the Refinitiv website: webinars
There are scheduled live webinars available from Refinitiv Academy. These sessions cover various products including Eikon, Datastream and Tick History. They are recorded so you can view them afterwards.
